I\u2019m Patrick Michel, an endurance runner from Montreal, whose heart has been pounding on the pavement for nearly two decades. I\u2019ve conquered distances from 10 km to 100 km and embarked on multiday events that stretch over thousands of kilometers. Though I don\u2019t race, my soul finds purpose in creating and promoting humanitarian solo running events through my organization, BRAVEWERK.<\/p>\n
With BRAVEWERK, I pour my heart into raising awareness and funds for causes that truly matter. I push my limits to complete ultra distances, driven by the desire to make a positive impact. I hope to inspire others to join me in this noble pursuit, to contribute to a society that is more compassionate and caring.<\/p>\n
On my blog, I share valuable insights, tips, and personal anecdotes from my journey, hoping to guide aspiring endurance runners with the wisdom I\u2019ve gained.<\/p>\n
Endurance running is more than a hobby for me\u2014it\u2019s a lifelong passion that has nurtured my resilience, discipline, and mental fortitude. These qualities have shaped me into a better person, and now, I want to help empower others to discover and harness these qualities through endurance running.<\/p>\n
In 2019, I ran two marathons daily for sixty consecutive days, covering 5,000 kilometers to raise awareness and funds for Derek Johnston, a kidney cancer patient. Despite the heart-wrenching challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, I resumed my running in 2022, running from Montr\u00e9al to Qu\u00e9bec City to support Malik Fontaine, a five-year-old boy battling leukemia. I\u2019m deeply grateful for the positive impact I\u2019ve made on his life and others affected by this devastating illness.<\/p>\n
Looking ahead, I have several new runs and endeavors planned in 2025 and beyond. I invite you to follow my journey as I strive to make a positive difference and create change in the world.<\/p>\n
